Product Description
Brief History
In 1990, certain firearm manufacturing companies in Germany, under the strict supervision of Heckler & Koch, developed a project for an assault rifle intended to replace the G3 model that had been in use since 1970 and could no longer meet modern demands. The initial projects were the G11 and G41, which were to use a different caliber than the standard 5.56x40mm NATO, but unfortunately, they were abandoned due to the cancellation of the order from the Bundeswehr troops. To not abandon the idea of a weapon worthy of the modern era, Heckler & Koch returned to the standard caliber of 5.56x40mm NATO. Thus, the G36 platform was born. This assault rifle was designed from the ground up. The entire operating system is designed to provide good reliability during use, low acquisition and maintenance costs. The G36 was first adopted by the Bundeswehr troops in 1996 and over time has become standard equipment for several countries. There are multiple versions of this weapon, each model with a specific purpose.
Exterior of the Replica
This airsoft replica manufactured by WE replicates the model G36C, with the C standing for "Compact". Similar to the real weapon, the presented airsoft replica is primarily made of fiberglass. The airsoft replica weighs approximately 2.8 kg. The weapon's short length allows the airsoft replica to perform well in confined spaces, where excellent control of the airsoft replica is necessary. Certain internal connecting elements are made of metal, ensuring the integrity of the airsoft replica.
The airsoft replica is equipped with an adjustable, integrated sighting system that can be removed if necessary, allowing full use of the large top rail.
At the front, there is a standard rail that allows the airsoft replica to be accessorized with a grip, flashlight, or possibly a tactical laser. The rail can also be mounted on the sides of the front grip. At the front of the rail and above the grip on the left side, there are holes that allow for the attachment of a sling mount for the airsoft replica. The mag catch is located in the center of the replica under the trigger guard. The selector is ambidextrous and features 3 positions: SAFE - SEMI - AUTO. The stock of the airsoft replica folds to the right and locks firmly in place. The rear part of the stock is covered with soft rubber to improve grip during use.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the toy, we encounter an Open Bolt system. The functions provided by this system offer the user an experience similar to the weapon it replicates. The hop-up adjustment is accessible at the top of the replica, under the rail, and to adjust it, the cocking lever must be operated; it is stable over time and offers good effective range. The recoil of the replica is strong, adding a note of authenticity to it. The airsoft replica has a velocity of approximately 105-110 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Source
The package of the airsoft replica includes a magazine that can hold 30 6mm BBs. In normal weather conditions at temperatures above 15' C, the airsoft replica can operate with a full magazine of BBs. It is recommended to use Green Gas; any weaker or stronger gas may damage the operating system. It is recommended to use quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal performance.
