Frequently Asked Questions
It is large, it is heavy, and it is not for the faint of heart. This is the Desert Eagle 50 AE Silver offered by WE and it is made of metal. This replica offers the best quality/performance/price ratio of the Desert Eagle model on the market. The weight is not to be overlooked, and the recoil is more than impressive. It operates on gas but without sacrificing recoil power. Its energy is 1.2J, which raises some questions on certain playing fields.

Product Description
Brief History
The Desert Eagle pistol was designed in 1979 with the idea of creating a platform capable of operating on gas recovery. A new concept unlike the classic recoil-operated system adopted by most existing pistols. The development took place at Magnum Research Inc located in America. The first functional model was ready in 1981, but development did not stop there as urgent optimizations were needed. These optimizations were completed by Israel Military Industries, or IMI for short, under contract with Magnum Research Inc. Thus, in 1982 the first models were to hit the market under the name Eagle .357, obviously due to the .357 Magnum caliber. In the following years, modifications and improvements to this pistol were made, and a new .44 Magnum caliber entered the market. In 1996, Magnum Research Inc introduced the first Desert Eagle platforms operating with the .50 Action Express caliber, and the last accepted and manufactured version with this caliber is the Mark XIX model. This model is equipped with a superior rail for mounting optical devices as well as many other improvements to the platform. This pistol has proven to be very impractical among military forces due to its heavy weight, bulky dimensions, and significant recoil. In any case, this pistol will always be appreciated for its design and destructive performance. Let's be honest, it is a portable cannon.
Exterior of the Replica
The presented airsoft replica is manufactured by WE. The model closely mimics the Desert Eagle Mark XIX 50 A.E. Silver. The upper parts, rails, grip, and lower receiver are made of durable metal. The weight of the airsoft replica is not to be overlooked, approximately 1.3 Kg. Like the real pistol, this airsoft replica features recoil. This toy is not for the faint of heart. Its dimensions are impressive, its character imposing, and the recoil is commensurate. The controls of the pistol are predominantly on the left side, making it designated for right-handed users, while the fire selector is ambidextrous. The sights of the airsoft replica are made of plastic and can be adjusted laterally.
Interior of the Replica
The operation of this airsoft replica closely mimics that of the real weapon. With each shot, the recoil cocks the hammer and feeds the next BB. The resulting recoil is immense. Disassembly of the replica is done similarly to the real weapon. The rear part is movable while the front part is fixed. The magazine of the airsoft replica is massive, holding approximately 27 BBs, and the large compartment for gas storage provides great autonomy. Despite its size and recoil, using 0.20g BBs, the resulting speed is 110m/s, and we appreciate the manufacturer's efforts to allow this airsoft replica to be used in the field.
Power Supply
This replica operates with Green Gas. Any stronger gas can seriously damage the internal components of the pistol. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the airsoft replica is capable, with a gas charge, of operating the entire magazine and locking the slide in the position indicating the end of BBs. We recommend using high-quality BBs for optimal performance and do not recommend reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs as the replica may malfunction.
