Brief History

Beretta PX4 Storm was introduced in 2004 as a response to the need to modernize existing platforms using the most advanced materials available at that time. The PX4 traces its origins to a well-known model, the Beretta 8000 Cougar. Features such as the rotating barrel with a locking pin can be observed. The manufacturers aimed to provide users with a platform that is very easy to operate and maintain while also improving long-term reliability. Due to the plastic materials used for the external components, the weight of the PX4 is quite low. This pistol was designed considering the most common calibers of its time; 9x19mm Parabellum, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP, and there are 4 distinct models regarding functionality. 

Exterior of the Replica

The replica at hand is offered by WE and replicates the subcompact version of the Beretta PX4 Storm. The manufacturer does a good job of copying both the aesthetic and functional elements. Its slide is made of metal while the lower part or grip is made of ABS plastic. Its small dimensions allow for extremely comfortable transport. The controls of the replica are similar to those of the real pistol. On the left side, there is the disassembly button, slide catch, and mag catch. The safety is ambidextrous and located at the rear of the slide. At the front of the replica, there is a small standard rail that allows for the attachment of certain accessories. The back straps of the slide can be replaced with one of the 3 pieces of different sizes to improve maneuverability and user comfort. 

Interior of the Replica

 The internal mechanisms of the replica are made of metal and housed in a metal frame to enhance reliability. The hop-up chamber allows for the adjustment of the hop-up adjustment, achieving appreciable shooting distances. The sighting system is fixed but correctly oriented. Under normal conditions, the replica can shoot BBs at a speed of 80-85 m/s using 0.20g BBs.

Power Source

The replica comes with a small 20-round magazine. The PX4 Bulldog operates on green gas. We recommend using green gas and high-quality BBs for optimal performance and proper functioning of the replica. Using low-quality BBs, reusing BBs, and using low-quality gas can affect the integrity of the replica.
