Brief History

Designed in the 1890s by John Browning, intended to represent a step forward from the revolvers of the time. The project was continued by Colt Industries and after rigorous testing, the project was approved. In 1911, it was introduced as standard equipment for the U.S. Army. The pistol was revised in 1924, with minor modifications to its exterior appearance. Since then, it has remained unchanged. After a century of use worldwide, the Colt 1911 remains the most important pistol in human history.

Exterior of the Replica

 The M1911 offered by WE is full metal, a semi-automatic replica, being one of the most iconic pistols in the world. The pistol features a truly unique design that combines engraved floral elements. The construction is metal, providing a specific feel akin to handling a real weapon. The functionality of the replica is identical to the authentic 1911. The recoil effect when firing the pistol is strong, contributing to the authenticity of this airsoft replica.

Interior of the Replica

The internals of the replica are of high quality; when used under proper conditions and maintained correctly, it is a durable replica with minimal chances of malfunction. The magazine holds 15 BBs, but an additional BB can be loaded into the chamber, totaling 16 BBs. The firing mechanisms of the pistol are standard T.M.

To disassemble the replica, the slide catch must be removed, after which the slide is released forward. Through this operation, we can also access the adjustment for the Hop-Up, which is consistent and precise. The accuracy of this airsoft replica is very good. It is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Source

This airsoft replica operates correctly using Green Gas. Under normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures above 15°C, with a gas charge, the toy can fire all BBs in the magazine, and when they are exhausted, the slide is locked in the warning position indicating the end of BBs.

Periodically, the airsoft replica should be cleaned and lubricated according to the recommendations in the Service and Care section. This way, the airsoft replica can function correctly for a long time.
