The VFC M4 URX Shorty represents an M4 platform designed exclusively for close-quarter combat. The use of aluminum alloys allows for a lightweight design while providing good mechanical strength, maximizing user efficiency.
Exterior of the Replica
This exceptional airsoft replica manufactured by Vega Force Company closely mimics the real firearm, made from quality aluminum, thus reducing weight while increasing mechanical strength. The components of the replica are manufactured with great care, ensuring precise fitting with no play between them. The ABS plastic parts include the grip and stock. Notably, the stock of the airsoft replica is of the Magpul MOE type.
The replica is equipped at the front with a free-float rail system modeled after Knight's Armament, or simply RAS (Rail Application System) made of aluminum, providing excellent accessory options such as flashlights, lasers, grips, and more. For attaching a sling, the airsoft replica features 2 QD slots above the grip. These mounts are made of steel and are embedded in the body of the gun. The fire selector, mag catch, and bolt catch are ambidextrous.
Sighting is done using the adjustable metal flip-up sights. The dust cover of the airsoft replica is functional and includes a "bolt stop" feature to facilitate hop-up adjustment.

Power Supply
The airsoft replica is equipped with a small Tamiya connector and supports 7.4V LiPo or 8.4V and 9.6V NiMh batteries. It is not recommended to use a battery larger than 9.6V as it may damage the airsoft replica. A 7.4V 1200mAh stick-type battery is recommended, which fits in the stock tube.
