Brief History

MP7 is a compact SMG, classified as a personal defense weapon, produced by the prestigious German brand Heckler & Koch in response to the new NATO specifications published in 1989. This submachine gun emerged in 2001 as a direct competitor to the FN P90. The MP7 quickly became known among law enforcement primarily due to the ammunition used. The main projectile with which the weapon was launched, of caliber 4.6x30 mm, is armor-piercing, made entirely of steel. Nowadays, there are more and more types of ammunition available.

Exterior of the Replica

This replica is offered by VFC Umarex and closely mimics the MP7 A2 model. This model replaces the traditional folding grip with a Picatinny rail. The materials used are predominantly plastic on the exterior, similar to the real weapon, while the internals are mostly metal. Like the real weapon, the operating buttons are ambidextrous, including the fire selector, bolt catch, and mag catch. The stock is retractable with multiple positions, aiding in stabilizing the replica during use. This replica is equipped with many standard rails on which a multitude of accessories can be mounted. The package includes classic sights with 2 positions for easier aiming. The operating mode of this replica is similar to the real weapon; it is cocked on the first shot, after which the replica will fire semi-automatic or fully automatic as long as there are BBs and gas in the magazine. The cocking lever is located above the body at the rear end. To release the stock, the button on the side of the body at the rear is used.

For securing a support system, the 3 ambidextrous ears in the front area, rear area, and on the stock of the replica can be used. 

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanisms are made of metal and are embedded in a metal frame. The recoil system is of the closed bolt type. Like any GBB replica that features auto function, silicone oil will be necessary. The more, the better, especially inside the piston as the seal is the first to dry out. It is not the best recommendation for accuracy, but again, who buys an MP7 for hits at 70 meters? This replica should be used primarily in small spaces with short engagement distances where the auto function shines. Using green gas, the replica generates a power of approximately 105-110 m/s using 0.20g BBs. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use BBs weighing 0.25g.

Power Supply

The replica operates with Green Gas and other similar gas formulas. We do not recommend filling the magazine with CO2 or other unapproved substances. In optimal climate conditions and at a temperature of 15°C, the replica can successfully operate the entire load. We recommend using high-quality BBs for optimal performance, and reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs is not recommended.
