Product Description
Brief History
Initially designed for the Italian army and law enforcement, to replace the M951 model. It entered production in 1976, starting its use in Italy, and gradually its use expanded worldwide. The American army adopted the Beretta M92 SB-F, later named M92F due to excellent results in the XM9 tests, aimed at selecting the most reliable pistol. Over time, the Beretta M92 has undergone several modifications to its mechanisms and shape due to requirements. The Beretta M9A1 version appeared to provide the American army with a more updated version to meet soldiers' needs. Overall, small aesthetic elements aimed at improving its usability. Unfortunately, the model was not adopted but remained in production due to civilian interest.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica offered by Umarex mimics the M92 FS model. This replica is entirely made of plastic and manages to imitate the recoil system of the pistol using electric power. That is why it is called EBB Electric Blow Back. With each shot, the slide moves back in a somewhat amusing manner.
As for buttons, there is the trigger and the trigger safety located under the trigger guard. There are no other buttons. The magazine, also made of plastic and curved in shape, is secured in place by friction. At the back of the magazine, there is a compartment for batteries, which is easy to operate.
Interior of the Replica
The mechanism of the replica is somewhat simple and made of plastic. We recommend not to jam the slide during firing as it may get damaged. The hop-up system is fixed but the level is sufficient to lift 0.12g BBs. It has a very low speed of up to 40 m/s, so we recommend using the lightest BBs possible.
Power Supply
The replica operates with 4 AAA batteries, but we strongly recommend using high-quality alkaline batteries or high-capacity rechargeable batteries. The replica will not function with low-quality batteries. Even though it is a cheap and unpretentious toy, we advise against using low-quality BBs as it may get damaged.
