Product Description
We present to you the ASG Ultimate U40000 motor. This motor is part of the high-end category of motors offered by ASG. This series of motors stands out from the classic ones in several aspects. First of all, the external structure is made of CNC aluminum, providing much-improved rigidity and more efficient heat dissipation. The rotor is supported by bearings at both ends, offering low resistance to rotation when the motor heats up, eliminating the issue of bushing expansion, commonly found in most normal motors.
The motor's pinion is very durable, made of quality steel, through CNC machining. This way, its wear is much lower than with traditional cast pinions. However, you still need to be very careful about matching the tooth profile of the pinion with that of the bevel gear.
The motor's windings are made of high-quality copper wire with heat-resistant insulation. This reduces the risk of insulation melting and coil short-circuiting. For connoisseurs, the rotor has 16 TPA, providing a balance between power and rate of fire.
The motor's magnets are neodymium and have a thick profile throughout. They are securely anchored and provide a constant magnetic field even at high temperatures. However, the increasing current demand with rising temperatures should be taken into consideration.
The motor's brushes are positioned vertically and have a thicker profile than those of traditional motors. This will provide much better electrical current transfer, consuming less power while also offering improved acceleration compared to motors using classic brushes.
The motor can be powered by NiMh batteries from 8.4-9.6V or LiPo batteries from 7.4-11.1V with a discharge rate of up to 50C. We do not recommend powering the motor with a higher voltage, as it will negatively affect the lifespan of the motor and gearbox.
