Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 Gold Match

Brief History

Developed by STI International in 2011, this pistol is designed to provide the public with a modern version of the classic 1911. Among the advantages of the new model are; an increased magazine capacity, the caliber of the pistol decreasing from 0.45 ACP (11.5mm) to 9mm, reduced recoil, and thanks to modern materials, a lighter weight. This model is successfully used by law enforcement as well as by the public for personal protection.

Exterior of the Replica

The current replica represents the HiCapa model but prepared for display. Its finishes and ornamental design enhance the aesthetics of this exceptional replica, which already holds the title for the best airsoft platform of all time. Maintaining the STI International pattern, the manufacturer Tokyo Marui uses a metal central chassis that serves as a stable support for all internal and external components. Unlike the standard model, the gold match chassis offers a tactical rail at the front, allowing for the attachment of electronic devices. The slide features cuts at the upper front to highlight the golden outer barrel and to provide a distinctive appearance. As suggested by the name of the pistol, "Gold Match", certain control elements such as the safety, hammer, trigger, and a few others are gilded.

Interior of the Replica

The internal components are quite similar to those of the 1911 Tokyo Marui but unfortunately do not fit exactly. Therefore, we recommend using components specifically manufactured for the HiCapa model. The quality of the internal components is very good, utilizing the specific alloys of Tokyo Marui. The replica is equipped with an adjustable Hop-Up system accessible by disassembling the slide (the outer casing). The adjustment is precise, and the final position remains fixed. The Hop-Up effect is consistent and effective. The precision characteristic of Tokyo Marui is a must-have. The ball speed is approximately 85 meters per second using 0.20g weight BBs. We recommend using quality BBs weighing 0.20g for optimal performance.

Power Source

The airsoft replica operates optimally with gas 134/144 A. Using any stronger gas may damage the replica. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the replica is capable of functioning with the entire magazine filled with gas. We recommend using only high-quality BBs and not to reuse BBs as this may cause the replica to malfunction.
