We are pleased to present a replica of a famous pistol manufactured by Tokyo Marui. This is the Desert Eagle 50AE. This mini-cannon is designed to deliver firepower worthy of the Rambo movie series, but unfortunately, its applicability is quite limited. The replica itself is meticulously crafted, with Tokyo Marui managing to capture all the details of the real weapon. It operates on low gas but without sacrificing recoil power. The replica's power is, however, specific to CQB airsoft games, achieving 90-95 m/s with 0.20g BBs. More than sufficient in confined spaces. Its weight is not very heavy, which is a good aspect. If it's going to be large, at least it shouldn't be light.

Product Description

Brief History

The Desert Eagle pistol was conceived in 1979 with the idea of creating a platform capable of operating on gas recovery. A novel concept compared to the classic recoil-operated system adopted by most existing pistols. Development took place at Magnum Research Inc, located in America. The first functional model was ready in 1981, but development did not stop there as urgent optimizations were needed. These optimizations were completed by Israel Military Industries, or IMI for short, under contract with Magnum Research Inc. In 1982, the first models were introduced to the market under the name Eagle .357, obviously due to the .357 Magnum caliber. In the following years, modifications and improvements were made to this pistol, and a new .44 Magnum caliber was introduced. In 1996, Magnum Research Inc introduced the first Desert Eagle platforms operating with the .50 Action Express caliber, and the last accepted and manufactured version in this caliber is the Mark XIX model. This model is equipped with a superior rail for mounting optical devices as well as many other improvements to the platform. This pistol has proven to be very impractical among military forces due to its heavy weight, bulky dimensions, and significant recoil. In any case, this pistol will always be appreciated for its design and destructive performance. Let's be honest, it's a portable cannon.

Exterior of the Replica

This replica manufactured by Tokyo Marui carefully copies the model Desert Eagle chambered in .50AE. The exterior is made of ABS plastic while the magazine is metal. Like the real weapon, the replica features recoil, and the moving part is only the rear section of the upper part. The replica is a High Kick model, meaning it is modified in such a way that the recoil is stronger than that of a standard Desert Eagle T.M. specimen. At the front of the upper part, there is a rail for mounting electronic sighting accessories. The replica is equipped with a safety located at the rear of the slide. To disassemble the replica, the lever on the right side must be activated. We recommend not disassembling the replica unless absolutely necessary.

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanisms are made of metal, extending the lifespan of the replica. The complexity of the internal mechanisms manages to surprise even the most experienced users. We strongly recommend not attempting to tamper with these mechanisms. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system and an inner barrel that is longer than the average of replicas available on the market, providing precision worthy of Tokyo Marui. The magazine can store an impressive amount of gas, giving the replica great autonomy. The speed of the replica is approximately 90-95 m/s, measured with 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

This replica operates with low gas 134A-144A. Using a stronger gas may compromise the integrity of the product. In temperatures above 15'C, the replica may discharge the entire load of BBs and jam the slide when they are finished.
