STI 1911 Lawman

Overview

This model, inspired by the famous 1911, represents a simple airsoft pistol with no recoil, but many players believe that its simplicity is its strong point. Due to its simple mechanism, reliability is commendable, and the lack of recoil allows for very good gas consumption efficiency.

Exterior of the Replica

The replica is offered by ASG and broadly copies the 1911 platform. The replica has no recoil, and cocking is done exclusively via the trigger. Similar to the real firearm, the safety is located above the grip on the left side. It is made entirely of plastic materials. The magazine of the replica is small as it does not include a gas chamber. The space for gas storage is incorporated into the grip. The weight of the replica is quite substantial considering the simple mechanism, around 400 grams.

Interior of the Replica

The internals of the replica are made of metal and provide good long-term reliability. The replica is equipped with a fixed hop-up system. This pistol operates on gas, and the velocity is low enough to allow access to the playing field without too many issues. Measured with 0.20g BBs, the velocity is approximately 80-85 m/s. For optimal performance, we recommend using 0.20g BBs.

Power Source

The replica is delivered with a 14 BB magazine. The operating mode is gas-powered. For operation, the replica will need any green gas formula, both weak and strong, which will dictate the final propulsion speed to some extent. We recommend using high-quality BBs for optimal performance.
