Product Description
Brief History
The TAR-21, or Tavor, is an Israeli bullpup assault rifle designed by Zalmen Shebs with the aim of creating a weapon for urban combat with as compact dimensions as possible. This weapon is globally recognized as a good assault platform, used in several countries.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is offered by S&T and represents the entry-level model or "Explorer series". The resemblance to the real weapon is very good, as are many of its functionalities. The body is made of ABS and is slightly back-heavy. Once shouldered, it will be easy to maneuver. The fire selector is on the left side, and the magazine release button is easily operable with both hands. An interesting feature is the replication of the "bolt catch" button, transforming it into a spring release button. The replica is equipped with a set of integrated sights on the upper part of the body, and there is also a standard rail for mounting optical aiming accessories.
Interior of the Replica
Inside, there is a metal gearbox specifically created for the TAR21. Some of the internal parts are standard, thus allowing for a certain degree of upgrades. The replica is capable of firing BBs at a velocity of 110-115 m/s with 0.20g BBs or 1.3J. The battery compartment is located at the rear of the stock and is accessible by removing the plastic cover. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up, with the adjustment located inside the ejection port.
Power Supply
The replica operates with 8.4-9.6V NiMH or 7.4V LiPo batteries. Any higher voltage will lead to damage to the replica. The replica does not come with a battery, so we recommend that upon purchasing it, you also consider getting a battery and a charger for it. For optimal performance, we recommend using 0.25g - 0.28g BBs and advise using quality BBs and not reusing them, as this may damage the replica.
