XDM or X-Treme Duty Match grade is a pistol manufactured in Croatia starting in 2006 by "HS Produkt". In America, it is known as the Springfield Armory XD. It is designed to provide championship-level shooting performance at relatively low costs. Shortly after entering the market, it was adopted by law enforcement forces worldwide. In 2009, it won the title of gun of the year due to its remarkable performance.

Replica Exterior

This replica represents the short version of the XDM platform, 3.8, allowing for a smaller profile, making it easier to carry. The lower part of the replica is made of ABS plastic, while the grip and outer barrel are made of solid aluminum. There are multiple safety systems. Behind the grip, there is a safety similar to the 1911 platforms. There is a trigger safety, and for when the airsoft replica needs to be stored, there is a front safety mechanism as well. The slide release button and disassembly lever are located on the left side, and the magazine release button is ambidextrous. An interesting feature is the internal mechanism cocking indicator located behind the grip. The magazine is chromed metal. The length of the pistol is 171mm.

Replica Interior

The internal components of the airsoft replica are made of high-quality, well-finished metals. The hop-up chamber allows for adjusting the hop level, significantly improving the range of the replica. To adjust the hop-up, the slide must be removed. It should be noted that the airsoft replica has very good precision. The velocity is approximately 80-85 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. Power Source

The airsoft replica operates with green gas stored inside the magazine. Using a weaker gas is not recommended, as it may affect the replica's performance. Under normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures above 15°C, a gas charge is capable of firing all 17 BBs in the magazine and then locking the slide in the "empty magazine" position. Using high-quality BBs is recommended to avoid mechanical issues.
