The Specna Arms J-Series™ CORE™ carbine replicas are mainly made of durable polymer reinforced with nylon fiber, making the replica lightweight and comfortable to use. The pistol grip, handguard with the gas tube surface, foregrip, and stock are made of polymer. The most important parts such as the barrel support, screw support, foregrip, barrel, and stock are made of zinc and aluminum alloy. The dust cover, safety, trigger guard, and stock are made of steel.

Specna Arms J-Series™ CORE™ features very good parts fit, low weight, and ergonomics. Furthermore, the replica is equipped with the ESA2™ quick spring change system. The system will allow you to adjust the power of the replica without the need to disassemble the replica. To replace the spring, you just need to remove the dust cover, fold the stock, and unscrew the screw holding the spring guide.

The replica is compatible with most Cyma, JG, E&L, and Bolt magazine types, fitting magazines from other brands may require some minor modifications.

The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Due to the base muzzle velocity of ~380 FPS, guaranteed by the factory-installed main spring, the replica is perfect for mid-range operations. The set also includes an M90 spring, which allows you to reduce the initial muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS, making the replica perfectly adapted for short-range or indoor operations.

The gearbox has 8mm bearings and steel gears mounted on them. The system is secured by four anti-reversal latches. A lightweight piston, made of polycarbonate plastic, is equipped with a full steel rack that increases durability. Here, a type 0 cylinder and a steel selector plate are also used. The durability of the components allows the use of M140 springs.
