Product Description
Desert Tech SRS is a remarkable bullpup sniper rifle replica that has made waves both in the real world of firearms and in airsoft by its licensed manufacturer, Silverback.
The designation M2 refers to their monolithic receiver. The SRS monolithic receiver, made from aerospace-grade aluminum and CNC machined, features the new patented barrel mount from Desert Tech, which secures more evenly to the cocking lever and reduces maximum stress points. The SRS-A2 receivers are very lightweight (24% lighter than previous A1 models), actively contributing to mass reduction. Each receiver is engraved with a unique serial number.
The handguard uses an M-LOK rail and includes QD points for quick attachment of accessories and slings. Additionally, the SRS A2 receiver features a stainless steel attachment point for bipods (1/4-20 UNC thread). For those interested, you can also mount the Desert Tech monopod on the stock. Threading suppressors has never been easier. The rifle comes standard with a 24mm CW thread, which is compatible with the Silverback DTSS QD suppressor that can be directly threaded over the thread found at the end of the barrel.
Internally, the SRS is class-leading when it comes to air compression. The cylinder holds up to 41 cc of air, which is only second to its bigger brother, the HTI. Being an award-winning system, you can upgrade it with a variety of APS 13mm spring options. Combining this with its linear cocking, the small diameter 6.05 inner barrel, and adjustable trigger box, the SRS A2 is the dream rifle for any sniper.
To ensure maximum flexibility, the SRS A2 comes with a quick-adjust hop-up system, which is compatible with standard AEG hop-up rubbers, or you can opt to use premium hop-up rubbers directly manufactured by Silverback at any time. With this, you obtain a high-value replica, with just a few differences compared to the standard version of the SRS. The Sport version features a polymer MLOK handguard instead of aluminum.
