Overview
Siegetek Concepts is a company that emerged in 2007 with a singular goal: to develop extremely durable gears for electric-powered replicas. Over the years, after many trials and experiments, they have succeeded. They have obtained the ideal material for processing gears for electric airsoft toys, AEG.
Description
Dual sector gears are designed with the idea of providing electric-powered replicas the capability for a very high rate of fire. As some users are in constant search of components aimed at achieving the highest possible rate of fire for their toys, Siegetek comes to their aid. Utilizing the quality steel specific to Siegetek Concepts, the designers rethought the design of the gear responsible for engaging the piston. By splitting the gear teeth into 2 equal sections and symmetrically distributing these parts across the gear's surface, they effectively doubled the normal rate of the gearbox's kinematic chain. For each rotation of the sector gear, the piston is engaged twice.
To further emphasize the rate of fire, the manufacturers did not settle for the standard AEG ratio of 18:1 and instead used a ratio of 10.44:1. To use this gear set, it is necessary to utilize a piston with all-metal teeth and to purchase spacers for the efficient compression of the spring. Using the DGS gears, the piston no longer performs a complete forward-backward stroke, thus the spring is not fully compressed.
Lastly, a powerful motor is recommended. The operating mode puts much more stress on the motor, but for detailed information regarding the correct installation of the gears, you can follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. you can find the instructions in English.
Powerful motors such as Systema A to Z or G&P M180 Satan can be used. (be cautious with the motor pinion, it may be soft and may require replacement)
The set includes all 3 gears necessary for standard version 2 and 3 gearboxes: Bevel gear, Spur gear, and Sector gear.
Airsoft6 assumes no responsibility for any material damage or injuries resulting from the use of this product. The user is strictly responsible for their own actions. It is recommended that installation be performed by personnel experienced in airsoft replica repairs.
