In a market where all products are more or less "made in overseas", a breath of fresh air, pure Romanian, appears: this wonderful Suppressor made by Showgun, OWL type C model. It is carefully and masterfully crafted by the greatest craftsmen of this land. Attention to detail manages to impress even the god Gebeleizis, who most likely now wants one for his airsoft replica... which probably shoots lightning.
Specifications
The suppressor is made of 6060 aluminum. An interesting number, which doesn't rhyme with much and is useful for those who have the slightest clue about what a metal alloy diagram is. For the rest of us normal people, this alloy called 6060 should tell us that it is very lightweight but at the same time extremely resistant to mechanical shocks and especially corrosion.
The length of the suppressor is 172 mm and has a diameter of 39 mm. It can be mounted on replicas equipped with 14mm counter-clockwise threads. From what we tested, it fits most replicas of our time.
The top layer of the suppressor, also known as the finish, is made through anodizing. This chemical process allows the color to last longer and at the same time is more shock-resistant than the classic paint. This process is done manually, a very rare thing in today's world. By manually checking each unit, the appearance of defects or other issues is significantly reduced. This process is known as "Quality Control" in the true sense of the word.
As for the interior of the suppressor, that's where the magic happens. The foam used is not only of multiple sizes, arranged in the form of washers, but is also sound-absorbent. This means it absorbs sound better. Instead of bang-bang, you hear puff-puff.
The shape of the suppressor may seem futuristic, but it has a very logical basis. The octagonal shape allows for a firm grip during installation.
