The PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine ONE, or EPM1, is the most advanced and highest capacity AEG spring-loaded magazine ever produced. Correctly named EPM1, the magazine is the FIRST in many ways:

Externally, the EPM1 has also been significantly upgraded. Like the original EPM and all PTS polymer products, the EPM1 housing is made of Dupont Zytel® polymer, making it extremely durable and strong. Another transfer feature is the continuous casing guide to reduce snagging when extracting or inserting into pouches or the replica's magwell. Our signature EP texture has been implemented on the housing to provide the magazine with a positive texture for better grip and tactile feel. The texture along the columns has been changed to ridges for even more positive tactility and allows the EPM1 to be compatible with the Magpul Maglink®. The EPM1 base plate has also been completely redesigned. The slip design makes the base plate more durable and resistant to damage or detachment if the magazine is dropped. It is also significantly thinner than first-generation EPMs, so stacking magazines in pouches or storage takes up less space than before. The base plate heel is angled to act as a monopod during sustained shooting, and, as before, a labeling matrix is incorporated into the base plate for magazine identification.

The improved tracking element maintains the spring pressure focused in line with the BB stack, adding instead lateral pressure to the BB stack and the magazine's BB channel walls. This new tracking design significantly improves BB feeding speed and consistency, preventing BBs from slipping past the follower and causing a jam. The most significant and innovative external feature of the EPM1 is the fuel indicator window. With the new unique orange magazine level indicator, you can immediately know if the magazine is full to maximum capacity, approximate remaining capacity, or empty. When the magazine is fully loaded, the magazine level indicator will appear at the top of the window. As you feed BBs from the EPM1, the orange indicator will move down the window until it reaches the bottom, indicating the magazine is empty.
