In airsoft games, as well as in real life, owning a grenade is becoming increasingly necessary to improve performance on the field. Various innovative and interesting grenade models have appeared on the market recently, sparking interest among players on the field. However, it seems that players are demanding continuous evolution and are therefore constantly searching for new solutions.

We are pleased to introduce the D-Tonator grenade offered by Storm Airsoft. This grenade incorporates existing technologies into an apparently easier-to-use assembly than other existing options, with better performance.

Let's get into details. The grenade is made up of two main parts, the outer part and the inner part. Both are made of plastic, so the weight is not excessive.

The inner part houses one of the simplest triggering mechanisms I've seen so far, as well as the gas needed to propel the airsoft BBs. The sealing is ensured by a large steel ball resting on a circular rubber gasket. Basically, keeping the grenade in a vertical position is enough to reload it. This system considerably saves reloading time. As a movable component, there is also a system to lock the steel ball in position to prevent accidental triggering. The main triggering system is impact-based.

The outer part is responsible for storing and directing the BBs. There is a single spiral channel across the surface, where approximately 150 BBs can be loaded using a BB feeder. The grenade has two markings on the top - ON and OFF, which also serve as safety features. When set to OFF, the grenade is secured to prevent accidental BB dispersal, while ON means it is ready to be thrown. Due to the spiral shape, upon triggering, the grenade will rotate in all directions, dispersing BBs. The impact required for triggering needs to be stronger than for other grenades on the market, and there is a chance that some BBs may remain in the channel after triggering. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it needed to be mentioned.

The grenade is capable of working with most types of gas, except CO2. It is recommended to use a powerful gas for optimal performance. The expelled BBs can reach up to 10 meters, according to the manufacturer's description.
