Product Description

Presentation

This Nimrod battery is a LiPo type, consisting of 2 cells that make up a compact unit. It has a voltage of 7.4V and a capacity of 2200mAh. The battery technology allows for very small dimensions of the entire assembly, making it suitable for mounting in tight battery compartments. The 65C discharge rate of the battery provides optimal current supply for the replica's power needs.

The battery insulations are well made, and the cables and connectors are of high quality. This battery comes with a Large Tamiya connector.

WARNING:

  • Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
  • Users must take all necessary precautions to prevent potential fires, bodily harm, and damage to property.
  • Improper use, damage, or manufacturing defects of LiPo batteries can result in explosions, fires, smoke, and risk of poisoning.
  • By purchasing LiPo batteries, users take responsibility for the potential risks associated with them.
  • LiPo batteries are not toys and should not be left within reach of children, as they can pose a serious health risk.
  • Do not throw LiPo batteries into fire, place them in an oven, or microwave, as they can explode.
  • LiPo batteries contain or may emit electrolytes, toxic vapors, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries carefully and avoid any contact with skin, eyes, or any other part of the body. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical help immediately.
  • Do not attempt to charge batteries that have been mechanically or chemically damaged.

Actions Leading to Battery Damage

  • Charging LiPo batteries with an unbalanced charger that lacks automatic charging cutoff.
  • Connecting cells or other batteries in series or parallel, even if they appear similar.
  • Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
  • A decrease or increase in temperature beyond permissible limits.
  • Excessive charging current.
  • Short-circuiting battery poles.
  • Subjecting the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
  • Exposure to liquids.
  • Using an improper charging setup.
  • Using improper or improvised charging cables.

General Information

  • LiPo batteries are composed of cells.
  • The parameters of these batteries are Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), and instantaneous discharge rate (C).
  • Each LiPo battery has a power connector and a charging connector.
  • The power connector is used to power the device it is intended for.
  • The charging connector is used exclusively for charging the battery. (in some cases, both power and charging connectors are used for charging).
  • Charging the battery is done through the charging connector, and some advanced chargers require the power connector to be connected as well.
  • LiPo batteries are charged using special LiPo battery chargers that include cell voltage balancing and automatic charging cutoff functions.
  • Each LiPo battery has a maximum charge rate of 1.05X its capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
  • Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
  • During operation or charging, the battery temperature should not drop below 0°C or rise above 50°C.
  • For long-term storage, the battery's capacity should be between 15% and 25% of its maximum value.

NRG cannot ensure that correct methods of operation and compliance with the charging, discharging, or storage conditions of LiPo batteries have been followed. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse to replace, as a warranty, any batteries that have been incorrectly used (which violate the above instructions and warnings) and we are not responsible for material damages, moral damages, or loss of life.
