Product Description
An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of the footwear directly influences the performance of the soldier. This aspect can also apply to actions meant to mimic military actions, such as long walks on unpaved roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often these games take place in not-so-safe locations; former military units, institutions, or all sorts of abandoned buildings filled with dangers at every turn.
The Mil-Tec boots provide the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain comfort for the lower limbs.
Exterior
The upper part is made of genuine suede leather carefully processed. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather to avoid seams and joints that often give way after use. The side surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made from quality textile material. This is 1200 den braided nylon. This material is included in the design to promote the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb potential mechanical shocks and is joined with the side sections to prevent the infiltration of water and cold air. The sole is made of soft rubber and is attached to the upper part through vulcanization.
Interior
The interior is lined with insulating material that maintains optimal comfort regardless of external temperature. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made from soft foam, enhancing the comfort of the footbed. In the front part of the boots and in the heel area, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that can affect the toes and heel.
Functionality
Each boot is secured on the foot with a lace as well as with YKK brand side plastic zippers. The boots are equipped with 8 rows of eyelets for laces, of which 7 rows feature reinforced eyelets with metal grommets and a central ring for easy tightening of the lace. The zippers are on both sides of the boot, greatly facilitating putting on and taking off the boot when necessary. At the top of the zippers, there is a leather section equipped with Velcro for securing the zipper.
The boot size according to the US measurement system is Size 8 and according to the EU measurement system is Size 40.
