Product Description
This jacket represents the upper part of the ACU Chimera or broadly the Army Combat Uniform. This uniform model was introduced with the intention of replacing the BDU or Battle Dress Uniform. Its construction and design comply with U.S. Army regulations. The placement and size of the pockets, as well as the cut of the jacket and adjustment elements, make this garment easy to wear and utilize. The material is composed of 35% cotton and 65% nylon, featuring a ripstop design. Ripstop is a special material designed to prevent the spread of a potential tear.
Functionality
The existing pockets are: 2 YKK zipper pockets on the chest, angled for easier access, and two Velcro pockets on the upper sleeves.
There are reinforcements at the elbows where additional protection can be mounted. On the chest and shoulders, there are sections equipped with Velcro for attaching badges, identification, or preferred patches.
The sleeves and collar of the jacket can be adjusted to enhance user maneuverability and improve thermal comfort.
The main fastening system consists of a double zipper and a section of material that covers the zipper, which in turn is secured with Velcro.
