Product Description
These pants represent the lower part of the ACU or broadly Army Combat Uniform. This model of uniform was introduced in 2004 with the intention of replacing the BDU or Battle Dress Uniform. Its construction and design comply with U.S. Army regulations. The placement and size of the pockets, as well as the cut of the pants and the adjustment elements, make this garment easy to wear and utilize. The material is equally composed of cotton and nylon, featuring a ripstop design. Ripstop is a special fabric designed to prevent the spread of potential tears.
Functionality
The existing pockets include: 2 upper front pockets, 2 button-secured back pockets, 2 large side thigh pockets secured with Velcro and elastic for better support, and 2 pockets at the lower calf area.
The rear area is reinforced with additional material to prevent wear. The pants are equipped with drawstrings for adjustment at the waist and ankles.
There are reinforced sections at the knees that also serve as pockets for additional pads. These sections are secured with Velcro. The fastening system is button-based.
