The lower part is made of synthetic leather, resistant to abrasion, light punctures, and medium temperatures, while the backside is made of Trek Dry Spandex, this material, clearly based on spandex, uses a weaving pattern that facilitates the evaporation of sweat, improving thermal comfort.

The exterior of the thumb is covered with a soft layer of absorbent material, designed to allow wiping sweat from the forehead or the visor of the helmet or the lenses of glasses.
