Recon leather gloves manufactured by Mechanix Wear are designed to be used in environments with increased risk of mechanical shocks. The materials used and the anatomical shape provide a high level of comfort and protection, improving the user's performance.

The bottom part is made of synthetic leather, resistant to wear, punctures, and high temperatures. The palm area has reinforced sections with a high-performance shock-absorbing material called PORON XDR. This material effectively absorbs possible shocks such as weapon recoil or other mechanical shocks.

The index fingers are covered with a grippy layer to improve maneuverability. The top part is covered with Trek Dry Spandex, a material based on spandex that uses a specific weaving pattern to facilitate sweat evaporation, enhancing thermal comfort.

The wrist of the glove is equipped with a rubberized band inside the material, contributing to maneuverability and preventing the glove from slipping off the hand.
