The fleece jacket M-Tac Norman is suitable for cold weather due to the WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. Made of 100% polyester. The structure of the WindBlock membrane grid is designed for low and very low temperature conditions so that 80% of body heat is reflected from the surface inward, and only 20% (excess heat during active actions at low temperatures) exits the membrane grid. Most modern fabrics with a surface-sprayed polyurethane membrane are not designed for extremely low temperatures, as polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, leading to the overall fabric stiffening. The consequence of this is the characteristic "rustling" when moving. The WindBlock thermal membrane fabric does not use polyurethane spraying to protect the membrane, but rather a dense, structured polyester blend (inside and outside the membrane) that protects the membrane from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside), and creates an additional warming WindBlock air layer inside towards the outside.
