Version 2 gearbox shell manufactured by Lonex for AEG type replicas. A shell with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. It is made from aluminum, a superior material to classic zinc alloy in many respects. It is intended for AEG replicas based on a version 2 gearbox platform. Examples include: MP5, M4/M16, G3 and others.
Some advantages of this gearbox include the additional parts with which the shell is delivered. Specifically: Selector plate, Tappet plate, 8mm Bearings and screws for securing the two major component parts.
Using aluminum alloy, the threads of the screws are much more durable, allowing for repeated assembly and disassembly of the gearbox with a lower risk of damage.
