Description

The XT1C 2018 flashlight offered by Klarus is part of the XT series of flashlights. This series is aimed at tactical users who need firm and diverse control over the functions provided. The internal circuit of the flashlight is specially designed to manage the battery voltage and the light output accurately.

Functions and Modes

There are 5 lighting functions: High-1000 lm (300 lm with CR123A battery), Medium-80 lm, Low-5 lm, Strobe-1000 lm, and SOS-80 lm.

Using a 16GT-70UR 700mAh battery, the flashlight is capable of providing a runtime of; 1h on high, 4h on medium, 53 hours on low, 2h on strobe, and 12h on SOS.

Using a CR123A battery, the flashlight can provide a runtime of; 1h on high, 4.5h on medium, 55 hours on low, 2h on strobe, and 13.5h on SOS.

To facilitate easier operation, the manufacturer has provided a 2-button control, both of which are programmable. The buttons are located on the back of the flashlight for tactical operation.

We can always know the battery voltage level with the LED on the head of the flashlight, which indicates the battery status based on the displayed color; green-over 70%/orange-between 30 and 70%/red-less than 30%/flashing red-less than 10%

Construction

The body of the flashlight is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and is covered with a textured grip for a firmer hold. The manufacturer guarantees moisture protection according to the IPX8 standard.

Package

The flashlight is delivered with a USB/micro-USB charging cable, a lanyard for support, and a 16GT-70UR 3.7V 700mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. The flashlight can also operate with 16430 batteries as well as CR123A batteries.
