Description

The G15 V2.0 flashlight offered by Klarus is part of the XT series of flashlights. This series is aimed at tactical users who need firm and diversified control of the functions provided. The internal circuit of the flashlight is specially designed to manage the battery voltage and the light produced most accurately.

Functions and modes

There are 6 lighting modes: Turbo - 4200lm, High - 2000 lm, Medium - 500 lm, Low - 100 lm, Moonlight - 10 lm, Strobe - 4200 lm, Signal Mode - 500 lm, and SOS Mode - 500 lm.

Using a 21700 4000mAh battery, the flashlight is capable of providing autonomy for; 1.2h on turbo, 4h on high, 14h on medium, 200 hours on low, 2.4h on strobe, and 42 hours on SOS.

In order to operate the flashlight more easily, the manufacturer has equipped the control with 2 buttons, both programmable. The buttons are located at the back of the flashlight, for tactical operation of the flashlight.

We can constantly know the battery voltage level with the help of the LED on the head of the flashlight, which indicates the battery status based on the displayed color; green-over 70%, orange-between 30 and 70%, red-less than 30%, intermittent red-less than 10%

The flashlight is equipped with a charging circuit for the internal battery. The connector is located at the front and is of the micro-USB type. It is important for the power source to be 5V DC between 0.5 and 1A.

Construction

The flashlight body is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and is covered with a textured grip for a firmer hold. The manufacturer guarantees moisture protection according to the IPX8 standard.

Package

The flashlight is delivered with a USB/micro-USB charging cable, a lanyard for support, a rechargeable Li-ion 3.7V 4000mAh battery, and a transport sheath made of cordura. The flashlight can work with normal 21700 batteries as well as CR123A batteries.
