Product Description
Brief History
Initially designed for the Italian army and law enforcement to replace the M951 model. It entered production in 1976, starting its use in Italy, and gradually its use expanded worldwide. The American army adopted the Beretta M92 SB-F, later named M92F, due to excellent results in the XM9 tests aimed at selecting the most reliable pistol. Over time, the Beretta M92 has undergone several modifications to its mechanisms and shape due to requirements. The Beretta M9A1 version emerged to provide the American army with a more updated version to meet soldiers' needs. Overall, minor aesthetic elements were intended to enhance its usability. Unfortunately, the model was not adopted but remained in production due to civilian interest.
Exterior of the Replica
This airsoft replica produced by KJW mimics the M9A1, replicating both its exterior appearance and functionality. It is made entirely of metal with ABS plastic grips, providing an authentic feel during operation. The recoil has a metallic sound and a fairly strong power. At the front, there is a rail for mounting tactical accessories such as lasers or flashlights. The safety is ambidextrous, located above the grip behind the slide. On the right side, there is the magazine release button, mag catch.
Interior of the Replica
The firing mechanism of the airsoft replica is made of metal, offering good long-term reliability. The Hop-Up is precise and consistent, properly adjusted. Adjustment is done using an included Allen key after disassembling the slide. The replica is capable of firing 0.20g BBs at a speed of 95 - 100 m/s.
Power Source
The package includes a magazine that operates optimally with Green Gas; however, it can also function with weaker gas variants but not stronger ones as it may get damaged. The replica can operate with both CO2 and Green Gas, with CO2 being more useful when the ambient temperature is lower, not losing its properties like Green Gas. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance and not to reuse BBs or use low-quality BBs as the replica may get damaged.
Maximum performance when using Green Gas is achieved at ambient temperatures above 15°C.
At temperatures below 10°C, we recommend using a CO2 magazine.
