Product Description
Brief History
The VZ 61 Scorpion is a Czechoslovak submachine gun developed in 1959 by Miroslac Rybar and produced by the Ceska Zbrojovka factory starting in 1961. This firearm was designed as a secondary weapon for military and civilian law enforcement forces. Its small profile allows for easy transport, making it quickly adopted by mechanized personnel; truck drivers, tankers, and even certain pilots in aviation. Currently, the replica is of interest to several nations around the world and is appreciated for the reliability it offers.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is offered by Jing Gong and successfully mimics the VZ 61 model. The body is made of both plastic and metal. The central chassis is metal, providing a stable platform for the internal components. The replica is extremely lightweight and small, making it easy to use instead of a pistol. The replica features a metal, foldable support system on the top. The sighting system is rudimentary but capable, and it is correctly aligned. The fire selector is located on the left side of the grip and is easily accessible. Also on the left side is the button for releasing the magazine, and at the bottom of the grip, there is a cover for the battery compartment. Once the cocking lever is activated, we will have access to the hop-up adjustment.
Interior of the Replica
Inside this replica, there is a typical gearbox for small SMG replicas. We can say that it is a metal gearbox, with metal gears that provide stable support over time. The hop-up chamber allows for hop-up adjustment adjustment, thus achieving appreciable attack distances. The replica's speed is only 70-75 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs.
Power Supply
The replica is delivered with a 7.2V battery specifically for this platform. A charger for this battery and some adapters for accessories are included. The BB magazine is a mid-cap with a capacity of 82 BBs. Attention, batteries for AEPs are not compatible. They are slightly larger. We recommend using only high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs as this may damage the replica.
