ICS BLE XAE

ICS is among the oldest manufacturers of airsoft replicas. What is truly interesting is that until recently, they focused on AEG replicas and less on gas-operated models. The BLE XAE model is one of the first pistol replicas offered by ICS. We can only be pleased to see how manufacturers of AEG replicas are gradually considering the enthusiasts of gas-operated replicas as well. This pistol model offers an interesting range of advantages, and its performance is hard to overlook.

Exterior of the Replica

BLE XAE manufactured by ICS does not strive to copy a specific existing platform but rather aims to provide, as we have learned over time from the company, a product dedicated to the airsoft domain. It can be said that the dimensions of this pistol are relatively compact, allowing for easy maneuverability in almost any situation. The slide is made of aluminum, while the lower part is made of ABS plastic. Its weight is relatively low, enhancing maneuverability. At the front of the external barrel, which is also made of aluminum, there is a thread, and with the help of the included adapter, we can mount a suppressor with a -14mm thread. The sights are easy to observe and utilize but are not adjustable. On the bottom and front, there is a Picatinny rail where we can mount an electronic device or whatever else we may need. Another interesting aspect is that the manufacturer designed this platform to be easily used by both right-handed and left-handed individuals. All its controls are ambidextrous, including the mag catch, slide catch, and even the safety. The trigger guard is sufficiently large to allow the use of thick gloves. The thickness of the grip can be adjusted with the help of the 2 included backstraps, allowing the pistol to be better utilized by both smaller and larger hands.

Interior of the Replica

The internal part of the replica is mainly made of metal and is quite well optimized. With a gas charge, the replica can operate for up to 2 full magazines of BBs. The closed design allows for relatively low maintenance over time. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system. What is interesting about this hop-up system is the design that allows for the use of heavier BBs without issues in lifting them. The recoil of the replica is short and relatively quiet compared to other models, translating into more accurately fired BBs. The speed at which it can launch BBs is not very high, 90-95 m/s with 0.20g, but the effective range is interesting.

Power Source

The package includes the replica, a gas magazine, a thicker backstrap for the grip, and an adapter for attaching a suppressor. The replica is capable of functioning with all types of green gas. We recommend using quality consumables and not reusing BBs. Otherwise, the replica may malfunction.
