Helikon-Tex Soft Shell Level 5 Gen.3 Ver.2 Jacket PL Desert (L)

This jacket represents the upper part of the Soft Shell Level Generation 3 Version 2 module of the APCU (Advanced Protective Combat Uniform), serving as a barrier against wind and light rain. The APCU uniform is a collection of clothing modules designed to provide soldiers with protection against all possible climatic changes and differences encountered in extreme situations.
The material used is primarily 98% nylon and 2% spandex, intended to provide the necessary elasticity while maintaining a degree of waterproofing against light rain and wind, as mandated by strict U.S. Army regulations. There are adjustment systems at the sleeves, collar, and waist to maintain thermal comfort, improve mobility, and enhance waterproof properties.
The jacket is equipped with spacious pockets located in easily accessible places.

Functionality

The jacket features the following tactical pockets: 2 large pockets on the chest secured with zippers and 2 pockets on the upper part of the sleeves secured with Velcro.
The jacket includes a hood that can be tightened into a special compartment inside the collar to save space. To prevent overheating, there are double-zippered ventilation systems in the underarm area.
The main fastening system is a YKK zipper, a high-quality double zipper, ensuring long-lasting durability. Above it, there is a section made of material secured with snaps for additional protection of the zipper.
On the chest and the upper part of the sleeves, there are sections equipped with Velcro for attaching ID badges or patches.

The color of the jacket is PL Desert, this camouflage is used by the Polish Army and is the Desert version of the PL Woodland pattern.
