Helikon-Tex Soft Shell Level 5 Gen.3 Ver.1 Jacket Vegetato (S)

This jacket represents the upper part of the Soft Shell Level Generation 3 module from the APCU (Advanced Protective Combat Uniform), serving as a barrier against wind and light rain. The APCU is a set of clothing modules designed to provide soldiers with protection against all possible climate changes and differences encountered in extreme situations.
The material used is primarily 98% nylon and 2% spandex, designed to provide the necessary elasticity while maintaining waterproofing against light rain and wind, as mandated by strict U.S. Army regulations. The sleeves, collar, and waist feature adjustment systems to maintain thermal comfort, improve mobility, and enhance waterproof properties.
The jacket is equipped with spacious pockets located in easily accessible places.

Functionality

The jacket features the following tactical pockets: 2 large pockets on the chest secured with zippers and 2 pockets on the upper part of the sleeves secured with Velcro.
The jacket includes a hood that can be tightened into a special compartment inside the collar to save space. To prevent overheating, there are ventilation systems with double zippers in the underarm area.
The main fastening system is a YKK zipper, a high-quality double zipper, ensuring durability over time. Above it, there is a section made of material secured with snaps for additional protection of the zipper.
In the chest area and the upper part of the sleeves, there are sections equipped with Velcro for attaching badges or patches.

The color of the jacket is Vegetato, this camouflage is used by the Italian armed forces.
