There are ventilation holes on the top to release excess heat and a reinforced nylon band to attach various accessories such as vegetation for camouflage or protective nets. At the back, there is an additional section of material designed to protect the nape of the neck. This section is detachable. To secure the hat, there is a cord with a carabiner at the bottom.
