Helikon-Tex Australian Military Jacket Shark Skin Foliage (L)

The jacket is designed for use in the transitional seasons between summer and winter. The material used is known as Shark Skin and somewhat mimics the appearance of shark skin, but the resemblance stops there. This revolutionary material offers a multitude of advantages: wind resistance, waterproofing, elasticity providing increased abrasion resistance, the ability to efficiently retain warmth without overheating, and maintaining low humidity. For additional thermal comfort, the interior features a lining made from soft, synthetic fleece.

The elasticity of the Shark Skin material provides good maneuverability during action, limiting the natural movements of the body very little.

Functionality

This jacket has 5 pockets: 2 pockets on the lower front, one chest pocket on the right side, one upper left sleeve pocket, and one lower right sleeve pocket. The upper part and elbows have reinforced material sections to withstand wear. For additional ventilation under the arms, there is a vent section equipped with a zipper. The shoulder areas have hook-and-loop sections for attaching badges or patches. The sleeves have an adjustment system to enhance user maneuverability while also maintaining internal temperature.

All closure systems use YKK zippers, known to be the most durable zippers on the market.
