If the M4 CQB is the benchmark for a short and maneuverable airsoft replica, then we must subdivide the class into other categories. For example, the M4 short. The model presented is shorter and more maneuverable than ever.
Exterior of the replica
At the front, there is a free float rail system installed, allowing for customization of the toy as desired. The components of the airsoft replica are manufactured with great care, ensuring precise fitting and eliminating any play between them. The Flash-hider thread is standard. The dust cover flap is designed to remain open to provide an extra touch of authenticity.
The sighting system consists of a Red-Dot included in the package, which greatly facilitates target acquisition, as well as a classic flip-up sight for emergencies.
To secure the airsoft replica, there is a quick-detach mounting system located in the middle above the grip and at the back of the stock. A quick-detach ring is included in the package.
Interior of the replica
The gearbox of the airsoft replica is version 2, equipped with 8 mm steel bearings of high quality. The interior of the gearbox is very carefully machined; the gears are made from durable, wear-resistant metal, and the shimming is very well done. The cylinder head is made of aluminum, as is the nozzle, which is also equipped with a sealing o-ring. The cylinder is specifically designed by G&P, meaning it is ported internally towards the opposite end of the exhaust. The BBs are propelled at a speed of approximately 100-105 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs.
The motor is a high-speed G&P M120 model, which, together with a 9.6V and 2000 mAh battery, can fire up to 21-22 BBs per second.
The hop-up chamber is metal, and the inner barrel has a diameter of 6.08 mm. The accuracy of the airsoft replica is good, and the hop-up effect is consistent.
Power Supply
The airsoft replica is equipped with a large Deans connector, supporting 7.4V LiPo or 8.4V and 9.6V NiMh batteries. Any voltage above 9.6V may damage the replica. It is recommended to use stick-type batteries that can be stored in the stock tube. It is advisable to use quality BBs and not to reuse them.
