Brief History
Designed in the 1890s by John Browning to represent a significant advancement over the revolvers of that time. The project was continued by Colt Industries and, after rigorous testing, it was approved. In 1911, it was introduced as standard equipment for the U.S. Army. The pistol was revised in 1924, with minor changes to its exterior appearance. Since then, it has remained unchanged. After a century of use worldwide, Colt 1911 remains the most important pistol in human history.

To disassemble the replica, the slide catch must be removed, after which the slide is released forward. Power Source
