Brief History

We are pleased to present the new G&G replica, TGM R5. This replica is equipped with an ETU unit that brings many benefits to the replica.

Exterior of the Replica

This replica manufactured by G&G is known as the TGM R5 and is part of the premium range of G&G replicas. The exterior of the replica is constructed similarly to the real weapon. The upper part is made of metal while the lower part or grip is made of polymer. Being part of the premium class, all important elements such as the outer barrel and other attachments are made of metal. The flash hider of the replica is quick detach, protecting a 14 mm counter-clockwise thread. The charging handle is functional, once activated it releases the ejector port, providing access to the hop-up adjustment. The fire selector is ambidextrous offering 3 firing modes plus one optional, programmable; Safe, Semi, Burst, Auto. At the front, the replica features a handguard with an M-LOK attachment system. The stock of the replica is foldable, making it easier to transport the replica.

Interior of the Replica

This toy benefits from an important upgrade, namely the electronic control unit, ETU. Thus, the trigger response will be greatly improved and the sound during firing is much more orderly. The gearbox of the replica is G&G Gearbox G2. The gearbox is equipped with 8 mm bearings that reduce friction, saving current and preventing premature wear of components. The gears, piston, spring, and other internal components are standard, allowing for modification of the replica if necessary or desired. The motor of the replica is an Ifrite 25k. However, we advise you to check the compatibility of the parts before purchasing or installing them. The inner barrel of the replica is precision-made, providing good grouping and impressive effective range. The all-season hop-up rubber performs well, even when ambient temperatures drop below 0 degrees, maintaining a constant hop-up adjustment.

Power Supply

The package includes the replica, a midcap magazine with a capacity of 130 6mm BBs. With the purchase of the replica, we recommend also purchasing a battery and a battery charger as they are not included in the package. The replica can operate with a 7.4V or 11.1V Lipo. The connection plug is Tamiya mini and the space for the battery is inside the front handguard. We recommend using only high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs as these factors can lead to premature failure of the replica.
