There is also a Picatinny rail on the top for mounting optical aiming devices. The pistol is equipped with multiple safeties, one on the trigger and another ambidextrous one located above the grip. The mag catch is ambidextrous and easy to operate due to its reasonable length. The Piranha Mk1 features a revolutionary hop-up that can be adjusted from the tip of the barrel.
