GATE MERF 3.2 Advanced MOSFET

This is an advanced control unit designed for AEG replicas. With its help, we can protect the replica's contacts and battery, and select one of the modes: semi, burst, auto. Regardless of the battery used, the replica's rate of fire can be easily adjusted according to preference. This control unit is programmable using the onboard LEDs and an additional contact or the replica's trigger (depending on the connection mode). It can be mounted in three distinct ways.

Simple Connection:

Here, the control unit is simply connected between the battery and the replica's connector. This mode allows for the protection of the contacts and the battery from undervoltage and the ability to select the SAFE/SEMI/BURST mode. The unit's configuration is done using the switch included in the package.

Advanced Connection:

This connection allows us to use the unit much more extensively. To mount the unit this way, the internal contact connections must be modified. In addition to the options provided by the simple connection, in this mode we can select between the SAFE/SEMI/BURST and SAFE/BURST/AUTO modes, set the exact rate of fire of the replica, saving ammunition. Active motor braking protects the gearbox from unwanted tensioning. Another function activated with the advanced mounting is "Smart Trigger", which, in cooperation with the rate of fire control, provides a better trigger response. For programming in this mode, the motor must be disconnected, after which the replica's trigger is used.

Advanced Connection with Replacement of Internal Wires:

To achieve this connection, the existing wires must be removed and replaced with silicone wires, connecting the replica's contact directly to the control unit's contact. The functions in this mode are identical to the advanced mode, with the advantage of eliminating current losses due to soldering and wire lengths.

The GATE MERF 3.2 can work with a wide variety of battery types: NiMH, LiPo, LiFe, with voltages between 3.2V and 15V.
