FPS Arc 120 m/s AEG

The FPS spring of 120 m/s has been calibrated for a 363 mm inner barrel and a type D cylinder gearbox (for inner barrels ranging from 301 to 400 mm).

Of course, with a shorter or longer inner barrel, performance will decrease or increase, thus calibration will be harder or softer.

In the calibration process, the thickness of the spring guide and piston head was not taken into account. Therefore, starting from equal initial conditions, you should consider a performance increase of approximately 2.5 m/s for each bearing.

The FPS spring is 100% Made in Italy and is produced in collaboration with top companies in the sector. The material used is polished steel wire and pre-hardened carbon steel wire with added silicon and chrome EN10270/2.

In the immediate subsequent phase of formation, the spring is stabilized in an oven at a temperature of 400 degrees Celsius for thirty minutes to enhance durability.

The spring features variable pitch coils in the central area and in the area in contact with the spring guide and undergoes a grinding process on both ends which guarantees optimal performance during compression.

It is recommended to use the spring in combination with a ball bearing spring guide and AEG piston heads for ball bearings to ensure maximum performance and durability.
