AN/PEQ-15 is an electronic device that unifies a series of elements necessary on the battlefield, such as: flashlight, infrared flashlight, visible laser, infrared laser, generally used to provide the soldier in action with an advantage on the field. For example, the infrared functions can be used in combination with a night vision system during the night.
Description
The AN/PEQ-15 device manufactured by ACM accurately replicates the original device in both appearance and certain functions such as the flashlight and visible red laser. It is made from durable ABS plastic. At the top, there is a mode selector: Flashlight, Laser, Flashlight+Laser, and the On-Off switch.
The laser is adjustable both vertically and horizontally. There are protective caps on the front.
The device operates with a CR123 battery, which is not included in the package and is mounted in a special compartment located at the back, accessible by removing the support cover.
For superior control, a Pressure Pad is included in the package. This pressure pad connects via a Jack plug at the back of the device, extending the On-Off contact.
The AN/PEQ-15 ACM can be mounted on any standard rail equipped with cross slots. The attachment is secured with a metal screw located at the bottom.
