Brief History
The AK-105 is the short version of the AK-74M rifle. The AK-102, AK-104, and AK-105 share a similar design, with the only differences being caliber and magazine type. The manufacturer E&L, currently producing accessories for real firearms, has managed to encapsulate the essence of the AK in this wonderful airsoft replica.
Exterior of the Replica
The EL-105 replica is a 1:1 copy of the AK-105 assault rifle manufactured in Russia. The manufacturer offers the possibility to swap parts of the replica with those of the original weapon. Parts such as: handguard, gas tube cover, gas tube, cleaning rod, and sights. No other manufacturer on the market offers such an option.
The manufacturer has paid attention to the smallest details to make the replica as close to the original as possible. The EL105 replica uses the same materials as the original: steel and ABS plastic. The steel elements have been anodized, giving them a more realistic appearance. Additionally, the manufacturer has made a significant effort to ensure the weight of the replica is as close as possible to that of the original, approximately 3.4 kg. The correct balance of the replica is guaranteed by the external barrel made of steel.
The replica is coated with a specific machining oil, which protects the product during transport against moisture and other impurities. The mixture of oil and steel emits a unique smell, well known to true airsoft players.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the replica, the heavy lifting is done by a V3 Gearbox powered by a High Torque motor. The pneumatic system consists of a set made up of a silent piston and cylinder head, which prolongs the lifespan of the system. To keep the focus on hitting targets rather than handling the weapon, the manufacturer has equipped this gun with a quick-change spring system. The high precision of the replica is provided by the inner barrel with a diameter of 6.04 mm. The propulsion speed is noteworthy, at 125-130 m/s, measured with 0.20g BBs.
Power Supply
The replica comes with a Mid-Cap magazine made of ABS plastic with a capacity of 120 BBs, an oil reservoir, and a Magwell spacer. Neither a battery nor a battery charger is included. LiPo batteries of 7.4-11.1v can be used. To ensure the replica operates at maximum capacity, only quality consumables should be used.
