Product Description
Brief History
Mossberg 590, designed in the 1970s by O.F. Mossberg & Sons Company, an American company, as a weapon for the military. It is based on the 500 model designed in 1961, to which internal and external elements were added to facilitate its use by law enforcement and military forces. The elements include; superior heat protection, a bayonet mount at the front, 2 types of grips (short stock and long stock), and other internal elements designed to enhance the weapon's functionality.
Exterior of the Replica
The airsoft replica Double Eagle M401 is the stock version of the Mossberg 590, constructed almost entirely from plastic with a perforated metal upper protective shield. The predominant material being plastic keeps the costs of the replica low. The functionality of the airsoft replica is similar to that of the real weapon: the safety is located above the trigger and each shot must be cocked using the front fore-end. This action provides a sense of authenticity when using it.
Interior of the Replica
The airsoft replica is equipped with an adjustable HopUp system, allowing the trajectory of the BB to be adjusted based on the weight of the BB; the HopUp adjustment is located on the right and center of the airsoft replica. With a BB speed of approximately 88 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs, 0.25g BBs can also be used for better accuracy.
The package includes 3 magazines of 14 BBs each and a BB loader to facilitate loading the magazines.
