The 816 model offered by Double Bell is a replica of a famous platform, easily recognizable. Compared to previous series, the manufacturer, formerly dboys, is trying to re-establish itself in the market with improved quality control and interesting replica models. Putting aside all the details, it remains a replica with a very good quality-price ratio.

Exterior of the Replica

The exterior of the replica is made of metal, while the ABS components such as the grip and stock are of high quality and robust. The body of the gun along with the casing, trigger, mag-catch, and folding stock are made of metal, while other components such as the outer barrel and flash hider are made of aluminum. The stock of the replica is retractable. The replica's magazine is Hi-Cap and holds 300 BBs. The replica is equipped with multiple standard rails for mounting accessories such as flashlights, lasers, or advanced sighting systems.

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanism of the 816 replica is made of metal. The gearbox is version 2 and is equipped with a Quick Spring Change System. This version of the gearbox is known for its quality and is, of course, built from metal, as are the gears. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of polycarbonate. The diameter of the bearings is 7mm. The BB speed is somewhere between 120-125 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Supply

The replica package does not include a battery or battery charger. The maximum recommended battery is 9.6V, as using a larger battery poses a risk of damaging the toy. For optimal performance, we recommend using quality BBs. We do not recommend reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs as this may damage the replica.
