Cyma Electric Pistol CM.127 Tan

Overview

The airsoft replica manufactured by Cyma representing the CM.127 model, from the first contact we realize that something is not quite as we expected. This is due to the fact that it is an electric functioning pistol. Instead of internal mechanisms and gas storage compartments, there is a miniature electric gearbox capable of propelling the BBs from the replica in both semi-automatic and automatic fire modes.

Exterior of the Replica

The exterior of the airsoft replica is constructed from quality ABS plastic and metal in certain areas. The fire selector is represented by the lever that is normally used for disarming and safety on a real pistol (the one at the top left rear). This selector has 3 positions: Safe mode in which the pistol will not fire, Semi-Automatic, and Automatic. The slide of the airsoft replica does not move in any way as it is actually a protective cover for the internals. To remove the slide, simply pull the trigger, after which the slide can be removed upwards. The magazine is metal, small, and slim, totally unrealistic but presents a great advantage: it can store 30 6mm BBs.

The width of the pistol is similar to that of a real firearm and gas-operated replicas, but it is still recommended to use a universal or adjustable holster to carry this pistol.

Interior of the Replica

Once the slide is removed, we can observe the space designated for the battery and the mechanism for facilitating the installation/removal of the battery as well as the hop-up adjustment. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system, thus increasing the effective range despite the low speed of 55-60 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. Of course, it is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.
