We are pleased to present one of the most sought-after sniper platforms of all time, the M40 has been in service with the U.S. Marine Corps since 1966, multiple versions have been produced for this model (M40, M40A1, M40A3, and M40A5), each having various types of materials, configurations, and calibers. It is an easy-to-handle weapon, and the modified Remington stock provides unique ergonomics.
Exterior of the replica
The body of the CM.700A replica from Cyma is made from ABS plastic in some areas for grip. The receiver and barrel are made from metal. At the rear, the stock cover is coated with a rubber layer for a secure shoulder fit. The sling attachment points are located at the front end of the body and at the rear of the stock. The magazine compartment is at the front of the trigger and is activated by pressing the round button. This version has a length of 1170mm.
Interior of the replica
The gearbox is made of metal, as is the hop-up chamber. The piston and guide are made from polycarbonate, while the cylinder is made of aluminum. The inner barrel has a length of 380mm and a diameter of 6.08mm. The hop-up chamber allows for adjustment of the hop-up adjustment from the exterior of the replica. A small lever is located on the left side of the outer barrel. The replica fires BBs at a speed of 145-140 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs.
