Presentation

We are pleased to present to you a modernized version of the classic AK-47. This replica is based on the AK 105 platform, with added standard rails at the front for better accessorizing and an ambidextrous charging handle. This combination between M4 and AK looks quite good. Some may consider it blasphemy, but others are excited about the modern look offered by this platform.

Exterior of the replica

The model of the replica is called CM.040K and as the gentlemen from Cyma have taught us, the exterior of the replica is not extremely well finished, but it still manages to attract interest due to its weight and predominance of metal on the surface of the replica. The only plastic element is the grip. It is true that the replica is a bit heavy at the front, but this is not a new issue among AKs and should not be an impediment for AK enthusiasts.

The rail system, both the lower and upper ones, are well anchored to the external barrel, with very little to no play between these components. The charging handle is ambidextrous, making it easier to adjust the hop-up adjustment during action.

The stock of the replica is retractable, allowing for much more comfortable operation.

Interior of the replica

Inside the replica, there is a standard version 3 gearbox, so the upgrade possibilities are from very good and up. It is made of quality materials providing reliability over time. The inner barrel is made of quality brass, and the hop-up system is adjustable. The inner barrel may require cleaning before first use. The speed of the replica is quite high, approximately 115-120m/s using 0.20g BBs. The effective range of the replica is impressive.

Power source

The replica can be powered by a maximum of 9.6V NIMH or 7.4V Lipo batteries. Any higher voltage may damage the replica. It is recommended to use quality BBs. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may suffer damage.
