Designed to incorporate the best aspects of the most renowned weapons of the time, it is still successfully used today without major interventions on its operating system. The manufacturer CYMA successfully integrates the best features of this weapon into airsoft toys.
Exterior of the Replica
This replica is manufactured by Cyma and the model is CM.028C. The body of the airsoft replica, the grip, the stock, and the handguard are made of quality ABS plastic. The construction follows the Tokyo Marui model; the front part and the body of the airsoft replica are assembled with 4 screws. This model facilitates access to the inner barrel and the Hop-Up chamber. The metal elements include the outer barrel, the connection elements of the airsoft replica, the dust cover, the sights, and the mag-catch button. The handguard of the replica is equipped with standard rails that allow the mounting of additional devices such as flashlights, lasers, and other accessories. The stock of the replica is of M4 type and is adjustable with 5 positions. The front grip is foldable, allowing modification of the hold according to needs. The package includes a sling which we do not recommend. The quality of this sling is questionable and may pose a risk to the integrity of the replica.
Interior of the Replica
The Hop-Up adjustment is located inside the ejection port, and this adjustment is linear and precise. The Hop-Up chamber is made of ABS plastic, which should not be a concern; the casting quality is very good, thus there are no issues with feeding BBs. The accuracy and consistency of the airsoft replica are good.
The gearbox is version 3, known for its durability. Of course, it is made of metal, as are the gears. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of polycarbonate. The BB speed is somewhere between 110 and 115 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
To access the battery compartment, it is necessary to remove the dust cover of the body by pressing the button at the back. The maximum recommended battery is 9.6V because using a larger battery may risk damaging the toy. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use quality BBs. Reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs is not recommended as it may damage the replica.
